The sleeping bag helps to have a quiet, comfortable and warm night for your baby. It prevents taking off the blanket accidentally during the night. It has no sleeve, to avoid excessively high temperatures.
It has two snap buttons on the shoulders and below the chest. It closes by a zipper on the side and it should fit around the chest of the baby to provide comfortable sleep.
The sleeping bag can be used since the baby is born but take care of using the right size for your kid. On the photo you can see the small, 0-6 months version.
It is not needed to use a blanket when the baby has the sleeping bag on. You should use the winter version for 18-22 degree room and the summer version for 23-25 degree room.
